Council Draft Budget Report 2009-10 The City of Greater Shepparton has released their draft budget report for the year 2009 to 2010. Interesting notes is the allocation of $120,000 to improvements of the shared path system. This is a big improvement to previous years allocations and is because of our bug group being more active with council. Also $20,000 to some new sinage as well. Also news is the $120,000 grant for the construction of the bridge 2km west of Murchison and a further $60,000 funded by the council to complete the bridge works. Also in the budget is a further $340,000 for the Railtrail Construction with $330,000 being externally funded from the State or Federal Governments.
